Himel Time Relay
Efficient time switching is now easily available with Himel Time Relay
Time relays find a massive application in customized and scheduled switching of electrical devices and equipment. Time Relays are more common than we think. Streetlights on the main roads or the area lighting of colonies, are mostly unmanned. They don’t require scheduling to turn them on when it is dark and off as the day breaks. These are controlled by the Time Relays which are installed in electrical panels. Such is the ease of operation! We only set the time when we would like the lights to turn on and off.
Time Relays in some form or shape have been in usage since 1968, the ushering era of industrial automation. Installation of Time Relay in the final distribution electrical circuits facilitated unmanned operations, the founding principle of making risky operations safer.
How does a Time Relay function?
A Time Delay Relay is basically an automated device or component which uses the electromagnetic principal or mechanical action to delay the closing or opening of contacts of a circuit. One half of the relay coil is always energized while the other must be turned on by an electrical signal through control device such as clocks, or some other relays. Once the timer receives the signal, it triggers the switching on of the electrical circuit. Now the timer has actuated and is in use. Post the selected time delay, it again de-energizes the circuit and hence one cycle of operation is done with.
Experience Seamless Scheduling with Himel Time Relays
At Himel, we design and manufacture Time Relays that facilitate glitch-free scheduling required for high-efficiency automation and greater power saving in diverse applications across residential, commercial, and industrial projects.
All-purpose applications
Himel Time Delay Relays have both switch on and switch off delays to suit the requirement of your electrical circuit.
Wider range of temperature operation
Time Relays from Himel are equipped to function in a wider range of temperatures, -5 degree Celsius to 40 degree Celsius. This allows problem-free scheduling in harsh environments.
More durability
The mechanical durability of Himel Time Relays is greater than 1 million times with electrical durability exceeding 100 thousand times. This would further imply that these relays have a longer lifespan when compared to the similar class devices
Varied voltage operations
The rated convention thermal current is 10A, whereas the control supply voltage can be customized to 110V and in some cases 380V apart from the operations at 220V. This also finds operation in 24V DC.
Range of time delays specifications
With a wider specification range, Himel Time Relays can operate at a delay of 5s, 10s, 30s, 60s, 120s, 180s, 360s & 480s. This allows better fitment in diverse applications.
More compact design for neat installation
The Himel Time Relays are compact and have an elegant appearance, facilitating sleek and neat assembly without taking extra space.
Greater accuracy
With high-capacity contacts and accuracy, our Time Relays allow strong anti-interference ability ensuring seamless operations
Compliance with international standards
Himel Time Relays conform to the international standard IEC 60947-5 for the low-voltage switchgear and electrical and mechanical construction of emergency stop devices.
